World Sport Chicago scholarship Please note that this incredible $20K scholarship opportunity is open to student-athletes of all ability levels, including those who participate in Paralympic sport opportunities. World Sport Chicago (WSC), the legacy organization of Chicago 2016’s Olympic and Paralympic Bid, created the World Sport Chicago Scholarship Program to reward Chicago high school student-athletes for their demonstrated commitment to athletics, academics and the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect. Up to 50 Chicago high school juniors will receive Kaplan ACT tutoring and a year-long Chicago Scholars mentoring program, which guides students through the college application process. The WSC Scholars will also have the opportunity to interview for one of 10 renewable college scholarships worth up to $5,000 annually ($20,000 total), supported by WSC and Chicago donors.
