Guest guest
Can you give us a big-picture kind of overview about Walgreens and how they came to be doing this? Most of us know about their Distribution Center model (Randy , , et al) and also we’d heard that they piloted a Retail Store disability employment model down in Texas with some of their stores, correct? So they are widening the scope of retail store employment now to include Naperville and where else? Did they learn lessons from that pilot about training for stores that has led to development of this curriculum/internship concept? In other words, is the curriculum infused with concepts/terminology/philosophy from these employers (is it Walgreens or Office Max specific training) or is it more general good workplace skills a person could take with them to any potential employer? Thanks.
