Please Join Me for a Property Tax Seminar

Dear Neighbor,

The fall season is upon us and I am getting ready to go back to Springfield for

the remainder of this year's legislative session. I wanted to take this

opportunity to invite you a property tax seminar that I am hosting in Buffalo

Grove. I will be joined by Lake County Chairman Stolman, Vernon Township

Assessor Raupp, Lake County Assessor son & 18th District –

Lake County Board Member Lawlor.

All Lake residents are invited to attend and receive information on how to

reduce their property taxes by better understanding the appeals process.

Residents are strongly encourage to be prepared with their blue assessment

notice and, if possible, evidence to show their assessment is too high (such as

a lower assessment for comparable properties in the neighborhood, factual

mistakes on their assessment, a recent purchase price, or a recent appraisal).

The Seminar will take place on

Wednesday, October 19, 2011 -5:30pm-7:30pm

at the

Vernon Township Community Services Building, 2900 N. Main Street, Buffalo Grove.

I hope you can attend and please feel free to help me spread the word by
