Question re: Medicare/Job Insurance Coverage

The autistic adult woman I used to mentor has a part-time job, which offers

health insurance at a nomimal fee.  She is coming up for eligibility for

Medicare this October.  Can she have both?  Should she have both?

 

Could someone direct me to someone who might have the answer?  I do not want to

jeopardize her Medicare coverage as length in job is not secure.....
