Comcast launched a $9.95 a month internet service called Internet Essentials.

The service is for families with a child who gets free school lunches. Those who

qualify get:

* Broadband Internet access, without extra equipment charges,

* Coupon that gets them a computer for $150,

* Internet security package, and

* Training on internet use, parental controls and safety.
