Tony This fall we were honored to tell the story in a brief video of a landmark class action settlement. Ligas v. Hamos was settled in June of this year and provides 9,000 people with developmental disabilities in Illinois, including 6,000 individuals living in large congregate settings (ICFDD's), state-funded options for community services. Victory in this long-fought battle reflects the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the need for more equitable funding of community services in Illinois for people with disabilities.
