Guest guest Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 Saw on the news yesterday that there was a shooting death & a person injured at a Mexican restaurant which is VERY close to the facility my son was at. The restaurant is next to an open field, then the facility is the first building on the same side of the road, although the street adresses are two different streets. I hope it hasn't affected the residents there too much. (I know that it would be very scary for a couple of them.) There is also another facility on the other side of this same restaurant, though down the road a little farther. It looks like a nice neighborhood, & that's one thing I hadn't thought of....to check out the neighborhood. Apparently it was a drug deal gone bad. One of the girls who used to work there told me today that she used to be fearful when she worked nights because she'd hear things from over there.
