Could someone please tell me what are the most important things to ask when

picking an Attorney to set up your special needs trusts, wills, POA's, etc. I

have a couple of parents in my support group who have not done this yet and I

want to make sure they get the right person the first time. I also heard of an

OOPS trust, but what is the legal name for that? Thank you. Shirley

The oops trust is the name Sherri Schneider uses/coined for an OBRA 93 aka d4A

or d4C aka self settled aka first party PAY BACK TRUST. When Sherri and I speak

to parents for the Arc (Sherri is on Arc Board and I am President), we do a

section on finding an experienced attorney. I am out of town speaking at the ASA

National Convention, but when I get to a computer I can post the power point

slides on that topic.

, you did our Trust, Wills, Etc, so I am not worried but after Sherri

spoke to our group it made some of the parents in our group question the

lawyers they had do their trusts and as I said there are some that have not done

anything yet.  Thank you, Shirley
