Hi all:

L'Arche is a remarkable group. I wish I could replicate the flyer with the

photo and graphics but the following is the best I could do with " cut and

paste: "

L'Arche Chicago is an intentional, inter-faith

community where people with and without

intellectual disabilities share all aspects of

daily life. Real, mutual relationship is at the

heart of our life together and through our

relationships, we discover, nurture and make

known the gifts of member, especially those

with intellectual disabilities. We have two

homes on the Southwest side of Chicago, but

many friends across greater Chicago-land.

We invite you, our old and new friends from the North Shore area to join us:

7pm, November 8, 2011

St. Church

806 Ridge Ave.

ton, IL 60202

Come celebrate L'Arche Chicago today and learn about our vision of life and

growth for the next four years. Pray and sing a little; eat, laugh and talk a

lot.

I will be there...hope to see many of you there as well.

Ellen, , and all,

One of our members, Beth Owen, used to work for Illinois Mentor and has put us

in touch with them for an Ask the Expert. Coming soon. I’m sure there will

be many with questions for our esteemed resources, both from IM, L’Arche and

others. More to come....

alternative for neurotypical folks!
