Dear Ellen,

I’m writing to everyone I know to remind you that this

week is the airing on PBS OV “Lives Worth Livingâ€, a documentary that traces

the disability rights movement from the early days. I was honored to be

interviewed for this, along with Marca Bristo and many of our great leaders.

This is on the PBS series Independent Lens, which

appears at different times and days in different cities. It officially premiers

Thursday, October 27. In Chicago it will air on WTTW AT 10:00 PM. IN

SPRINGFIELD IT WILL AIR ON will ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28 AT 9:30 PM.

Please check your PBS station, and watch it or set your

DVR. It’s an important history – helps us remember where we came from and

why we do what we do. Spread the word!
