dental question...anesthesia needed

My son Cody (22) has a severe gag reflex and 2 times in the past his pediatric

dentist did work on him at Children's under full anesthesia.

Now it looks like we need some more work and because of his age our pediatric

dentist referred us to an adult practice (and anesthesiologist)

in Arlington Hts who are not in ANY insurance network. We do have insurance

along with medicaid for him but the full cost for the anesthesia is just too

much so we are looking for other possibilities.

Our pediatrician referred us to Dr. Shore / Glenview.....also a pediatric

dentist.....who could do the work at Lutheran General(this would be within our

insurance network)...has anyone had experience with this practice ?

Or any other suggestions for dentists who are able to do full anesthesia?

Thanks,

Maureen

P.S. I am noticing some practices who advertise " sedation " but I don't think

this would work for us. Cody also gags from smells...I don't think we would be

successful with him being " semi " sedated.
