If so, the Social Security Administration (SSA) wants to hear about them. Details: The Social Security Administration will be hosting two Public Forums concerning its compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 - focusing on Social Security policies & facilities Deadline Monday, August 15, to register to provide a comment Tuesday, September 20, 2011 - focusing on information technology & communications. Deadline Tuesday, September 6 to register to provide a comment Time for both dates: 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT Location for both dates: Office of Disability Adjudication and Review One Skyline Tower , 5107 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church , VA 22041 . These forums are part of Social Security's self-evaluation of its current policies and practices that support Section 504. Under this legislation, federal agencies are required to provide meaningful access to their programs, activities, and facilities for qualified persons with disabilities.
