Please join us Friday, June 3rd, from 9:00-10:00am (cst) for the SERN First

Friday Entrepreneur's Forum!

This month's forum will include a presentation by Gene Oulvey, Ph.D. who is the

Coordinator of Evaluation, Psychiatric Rehabilitation, & Addictions Services for

the IDHS - Division of Rehabilitation Services and a SERN Board Member. Gene

has been instrumental in SERN's ability to work closely with DRS and other state

agencies to move Self Employment as a Viable Option forward!

Gene will be presenting on the:

Ø DRS - SERN Business Mentor (SBM) pilot description and update

Ø Intersection of the SERN Business Mentor project with state and national

initiatives and opportunities

Ø Ideas about the role of the state and national Vocational Rehabilitation

system in the supporting of and promoting of self-employment options for persons

with disabilities.
