From Noonan: Building Your Child's Recreation Plan Workshop Apr.

30

Building Your Child's IRP (Individual Recreation Plan) at Northbrook IL

Sponsored by: The Illinois Autism Training & Technical Assistance Project

(IATTAP) & North Suburban YMCA

Saturday, April 30

2:00-4:00pm

North Suburban YMCA

2705 Techny Road

Northbrook, IL 60062

For families and persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders, finding recreational

activities is sometimes difficult. For our children and teens to be successful,

we must first develop a plan. Just like your child's IEP, it takes a team. You

must know what resources are available, what has been done before, where to go,

how to be creative specifically for your child, and what things to ask for. In

this informational meeting, we will do just that!

Come learn how to build your child's IRP - Individual Recreation Plan. Speakers

will include: Carla Oldham & Judy Katz from the Il Autism Training & Technical

Assistance Project; Debbie DePalma, JJ's List and NSYMCA Board Member, Sharon

Dutkowski, Membership and Special Needs Director, NSYMCA.

Please register by calling Sharon at (847) 272-7250
