My understanding (from hunting around their website) is that HBWD is aimed at

those who are

* working for pay (check)

* earning very little (check)

* don't have health insurance (before the end of 2011, check)

* and get Medicaid (for the moment, check)

My 25-year-old son has been working for a while, and although he is covered

under his father's employer's health insurance for another handful of months, I

am wondering if now is a good time to apply for HBWD...before Medicaid drops him

for earning too much.

Any thoughts from folks who have experience with HBWD?
