Fortunately, mine are under pretty good control now. (I spent a couple of years having 4-5 migraines per week, which meant I was always either having a migraine or in migraine postdrome state - needless to say, I had no life at all.) I take Depakote and verapamil SR as daily preventatives. Write me if you want to know anything else. -- el (andrea at oro dot net) Nevada City, CA, USA " ...wake now! Guest guest
Hi : I am seeing a neurologist now (feel like a guania pig) I will mention the drugs you mentioned to him. I am on my second trial and it is not pleasant taking so many drugs that just make you worse or sick! Best Regards Teena Re: migraine headaches roteena@... wrote: > Hi > > Are migraine headaches a problem for anyone else with CFIDS? > > Teena > OH, yeah, majorly. Guest guest
is newly affected by migraines and despite being a nurse,I know little about them except being able to pick out the symptoms; and thankfully I dont suffer from headaches. From those who do, I'm a bit at a loss for which doctor is most appropriate. The ER doctor Dx as Migraine for sure and head CT scan clean. So we survived today with the IV meds in the ER. BUt, what to do the next time. This has been coming on for the last month. The headaches are getting worse and Motrin doesnt touch em, and even if it doid I have to give such a high dose I worry about the liver. What is thetypical treatment/ meds lately, and should we see a neurologist or is primary care MD ok? Anyone share some experience?
