Guest guest
I'd take a look at LinguiSystems' offerings. -Gail ________________________________ From: Jerue Family <jeruefamily@...> IPADDUnite Sent: Sat, May 14, 2011 3:27:48 PM Subject: Resources for activity modifications Am hoping someone on IPADD can help with this. Does anyone know if online or other written resources exist that could help guide me in developing modified activities for adults with developmental disabilities at a variety of functioning levels? We’ve all seen the wonderful materials that exist for students and teachers, where they take one activity or lesson plan and then show suggested modifications to accommodate different learning or communication styles...what resources exist for adulthood, though? Is there some top secret website (smile) that all the day program or special rec folks know about, where you can access activity ideas, materials needed, different accomodations/modifications possible, etc? Free or for purchase, I’m open to suggestions at this point. Let’s see how many we can list here – I’ll start! Tasks Galore for the Real World, a book available thru the North Carolina Autism Society Chapter bookstore and others. OK, team IPADD...GO! Thanks, Laurie
