Guest guest
Ok, I should know this by now, 5 years of navigating the system in US and Illinois and now Quentin is having his last IEP (last day of school May 2012) so most of my mental energy is in trying to learn to navigate the adult world. Here's the question: Are IEP minutes for therapy a legal contract? Quentin is in a private therapeutic school which did not have an OT for the first semester so he didn't get his minutes even though the aides worked on his OT goals. I understood the minutes would be made up when they hired someone this semester and after much insistance with both the school and our district was told no they will not be made up. Now the speech therapist left. Thanks, Thais
Guest guest
How are the minutes clarified? Direct, consultative? Integrated? That will make the difference.
