Guest guest
April 21st, 2011 - Update on National " Natural Supports " Survey I have had 451 responses, with 278 folks kind enough to leave a written response for question 8, some long, some short, all interesting and valuable. Many, many perspectives have been presented, and you will find reading those responses to be engrossing, thought-provoking and worthwhile.. I welcome more responses When all is done, I will be able to do some crosstabing and looking at individual surveys to see what is happening. We will close the survey May 7, 2011. In response to several requests, I will post the raw data, including all the written comments filtered/sorted by the age of the individual, along with graphs, etc, as soon as possible,.at: _http://www.ourwebs.info/indexpad.htm_ (http://www.ourwebs.info/indexpad.htm) Check there for the results after May 7th. In the meantime, I still ask your help in getting the survey to more people by again placing the following message in any and all listservs, in which you participate, and sending in email to friends and placing it in bulletins and the like: =============================================== Nationwide Survey on " Natural Supports " for Individuals with Disabilities and Families http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JWWTXBF Many of us have been told that we should use our " natural supports " to provide services to ourselves and our kids - even in place of paid services. Do you have natural supports? Tell us if you do or not, and a bit about them. This is an 8 question survey, anonymous and should take about 5 minutes or less. This is for parents/guardians, caregivers and individuals with disabilities ONLY. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JWWTXBF Results, when completed, will be posted on the PAD-CO website. We will leave the poll open until May 7, 2011. http://www.ourwebs.info/indexpad.htm Please copy and paste this post into your listservs and emails. Lets get as many responses as possible. Thank you This poll was developed by Denver Fox, Ed.D. a parent of two adult children with disabilities - dnvrfox@...
