My name is and I am the Mom to , my 19 year old son who has

Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. Josh is developmentally about 3 years old; his

syndrome is a progressive and degenerative epileptic disorder characterized by

intractable seizures, bouts of psychosis, bihemispheric brain damage (he had

meningitis as well at 6 weeks),and microcephaly. He can be quite sweet; he can

also be aggressive. I am at the point of beginning to consider either placing

him or developing a CILA home for him and three other young men with ongoing

live in family involvement.

Does anyone else have experience with developing a CILA? I'm thinking a 3 year

timeline ...
