My daughter is 9 and was just diagnoised as having autism. Does anyone

here know anything about insurance companies covering theraphy. We are currently

on the PUNS list...just signed up...that's how I found out about this group.

I have the state of Illinois insurance,meaning,the state is self insured,They

would

pay for therapy   during the summer months but not while my son was in school

Your school district should cover (as long as its on the IEP ).while she is

attending

school.If your insurance company  will not pay for it and you appeal it and

lose

than appeal it to the dept of insurance.
