Guest guest
Hello all, I have some GOOD news regarding the new system. Thanks to Ellen who referred me to a specific person to work with (Aetna program), my daughter has a new PCP that I really like and is local (15 min). My daughter is back on her regular meds. after being abruptly changed because Medicaid wasn't going to pay for it anymore only because I spoke with the agent and she OK'd the continuation of the meds. Having had many conversations with with Aetna, they helped me search for the right Dr. and explained that we DO use our local hospital for emergencies and that it will be covered at 100%, elective hospital treatments/surgeries are done at a hospital in network. We also have a 90 day grace period so seeing your regular Dr.s will still be covered during this time, also allowing more time to find the right Dr. for your needs. I hope this helps some of you feeling uneasy about the changes, trust me, I was there too! Shauna PS. Thank you Ellen! -- Shauna Wellman shauna.wellman@...
