also had a pre-selected MD and plan, if I did not sign him up in time

on my own. The listed physician was one he had seen before (yeah!!!), but

one who told me he was NOT signing up for the ICP program (BOO!). So,

just because the physician is listed, is not a guarantee they are in the

program. (in this case, he's with the insurance part of Aetna, but not ICP).

Hi Everyone,

More news on the continuing saga of medicaid conversion to managed care:

Shortly after receiving my initial letter, I got another letter informing

me that a primary care physician has been assigned to me in case I did not

choose one before august 6. It is 40 miles away in Chicago heights.

I sent a request for single case agreement for Quentin's providers and got

the following email in response:

Has anyone else been through this process? Any advice on action or should

I just wait?

Mrs. Palluau –

Thank you for your recent letter concerning Quentin

and the Integrated Care Program.

Your request to obtain Single Case Agreements for his

providers has been received and the two health plans, Aetna Better Health

and

IlliniCare Health Plan, are in the process of reaching out to those

providers.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to

contact the Illinois Client Enrollment Broker at 1-877-912-8880 (TTY:

1-866-565-8576).

Sincerely,

Tomko
