ATU-UIC Seminars The Assistive Technology Unit (ATU) of the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) announces Two New Seminars: Early Registration Deadline June 16, 2011 ******************************************************************************** Manual Wheelchairs: Designs and Adjustments June 21, 2011 9am - 4pm Presented by: ATU Seating and Wheeled Mobility Clinicians Lori Peculis, PT, ATP Sposato, MEBME, ATP Molly Boland, MS, ATP, RET CEUs and CPDUs Available! This is the second in a series of seating, positioning and wheeled mobility workshops offered by the ATU. The morning session highlights the designs and features of manual wheelchair bases for children and adults. In the afternoon hands-on session, participants will configure wheelchair frames to meet an individual’s functional mobility needs. Registration Fees through June 16th, 2011: $150 per person.
