UP AND COMING TRENDS FOR SUPPORTING ADULTS WITH AUTISM AND DEVELOPMENTAL

DISABILITIES

Vendors from Intersect for Ability will be at the conference sharing information

regarding their special projects on aging, training, transition, employment and

BCBA internships.

This groundbreaking training was developed by the Little Friends Center for

Autism (LFCA), Elim Christian Services and The Barbara Olson Center of Hope.

Based on six-day core training for adult's services, this training was

generously funded by the Foundation and supported by Intersect for

Ability. Cost: $79 per person.

Conference presenters will demonstrate how their organizations successfully

support adults with autism and other developmental disabilities by using

structured teaching, visual supports, behavior management and technology. This

unique conference will provide opportunities for participants to share

information and brainstorm. Participants are encouraged to bring visual systems

to share.
