I would like to invite you to an event I am

hosting in conjunction with Illinois Department of Central Management Services

(CMS) on April 27. I am working with CMS to ensure your organization has

access to state and federal surplus property such as:

a.. Communication & electronic equipment,

including computers

b.. Office furniture

c.. Clothing

d.. Medical equipment supplies

e.. Hand and machine shop tools, and hardware

f.. Food service equipment and appliances

g.. Heavy duty off-road and construction

equipment

h.. Motor vehicles (sedans, vans) and watercraft

We will have three sessions on Wednesday, April

27, 2011 at the Palatine Library, 700 North Court, in Palatine. Each Meeting

will last approximately 1 hour with time for questions afterwards.

9:15 am Local Governments (villages,

cities, towns/township, counties)

10:45 am Not-for-Profit Organizations

(daycares, food pantries, shelters, etc.) and Veteran Organizations (VFWs,

American Legion, etc.)

1:30 pm Small Businesses (construction,

manufacturing, retail sales that fall into the 8A classification)

I encourage you to come to whichever meeting

applies to your organization. The meeting will provide information and

instructions about how to get your organization enrolled and eligible for these

valuable state and federal assistance programs.

Our last event was well attended. In order to
