Guest guest
FYI Ellen Ellen Garber Bronfeld egskb@... boccia, boccia, boccia 1. SORRY—no news yet about Nationals, but we are definitely close to finalizing the weekend of July 27-31, stay tuned! 2. This is a reminder about the boccia officials’ training prior to the Great Lakes Regional Games. It will be at Lake Zurich High School on Friday, June 10 from 9am to 5pm and is FREE, including lunch. Please let me know if you plan to attend so I can have enough food and course materials. 3. I am excited to hear about some agencies who are planning to get kids started in boccia! I am getting some ramps made in anticipation of the new players; please let me know if you will need such equipment. If the numbers are sufficient, I would like to have a few half-day tournaments just for them next year. 4. I know that everyone is scheduling gym time for the fall, so I am tossing out the request for agencies to host boccia tournaments in the 2011-12 series. Please let me know if you would like to reserve a month; several inquiries have been received to date. THANKS very much for your support to grow boccia in Chicagoland! Pamela J.
