Guest guest
Hi all: I was asked a question this afternoon which I remember did come up on IPADDU a while back...It was in regard to liability issues and respite workers. As I recall, home owners policies would cover workers in our homes, though perhaps that would not be all inclusive, especially considering that many PSW's take our loved ones out into the community. Also, I am guessing that the DRS Home Services Program works differently than the Home Based Support Services Program, since there is a union involved with the DRS program...Anyone know for sure? Thanks. Ellen Ellen Garber Bronfeld egskb@...
Guest guest
Hi Ellen, my daughter's SLA is covered by her employer's liability insurance. I don't know about families who use Acce$$ for their programs. > > Hi all: > I was asked a question this afternoon which I remember did come up on IPADDU a while back...It was in regard to liability issues and respite workers. Guest guest
And 'SLA' stands for 'supported living assistant'? And what funding source pays for that person?
