Hi,

Maybe you can share more information about the boy's age and what evaluations,

if any your friend, has had done. I'd think the first step would be a

professional evaluation. Others on IPADD may have resources to refer you to, if

you can mention where your friend lives.

Obsessive-compulsive can be a feature of autism, I've learned. A good place is

www.anxietytreatmentcenter.com with Norbrook and Chicago locations. A

therapist there who helped my used what I think is the general treatment

approach: cognitive-behavioral (not behaviorist with rewards).
