Guest guest
Hi all: I have a dear friend who is about as kind and generous as they come... In his free time, he and his family (his wife and their two adult children) coordinate and run Buddy Baseball, in Buffalo Grove. He works through Keshet, a Jewish agency that provides a range of supports and services for children and adults with disabilities. You do not have to be Jewish to participate in Buddy Baseball or other Keshet programs. Buddy Baseball players range in age from around 8 years old, through adulthood. My son Noah still plays at age 25, and he is by no means the oldest player. Each player has a buddy that Dean trains...many of the buddies are highschool and college students...with a few younger and a few older... They play on Sunday afternoons for about 8 weeks from May through June. Dean is also a financial planner and specializes in working with families of children who have disabilities. Here is his website...you can contact him through a link on the site if you are interested in Buddy Baseball: www.klassmanspecialneedsplanning.com The Spring registration form is not yet on the website, but should be soon. Guest guest
Buddy Baseball is a FABULOUS time for all involved. I watch every year and it is a fun time for all involved. Dean is an unbelievable motivator and it is obvious that he truly cares about our families! ________________________________ From: ELLEN BRONFELD <egskb@...> IPADDUnite Sent: Tue, March 1, 2011 9:59:12 PM Subject: Buddy Baseball  Hi all: I have a dear friend who is about as kind and generous as they come...
