Newsletter: Assessing Workforce Development in Illinois

Dear Ellen ~

As chair of the Illinois Senate's Commerce Committee, I am convening a

subject matter hearing entitled " Assessing the Illinois Workforce Development

Programs. "

I am inviting members of the Illinois Workforce Partnership (Workforce

Development Boards) and the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to

testify (share ideas) on matters such workforce development programs, workforce

development budget, as well as evaluating the success of workforce development

programs. The ultimate goal is to ensure that Illinois Workforce Development

programs are meeting the needs of business and Illinois citizens alike.
