Guest guest
FYI Ellen Ellen Garber Bronfeld egskb@... Save the Date - Autism Summit 2011 Dear Colleagues: This spring, our office plans to host a conference called Autism Summit 2011: A Day with the Experts. It will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Trinity International University in Deerfield. The goal of our conference is to allow parents, teachers and administrators to get together and hear presentations from a variety of people working in the area of autism. We hope to empower our participants with the sharing of information, formally and informally. Some of the topics to be included are: research based interventions, legal issues in special education, medical/medication interventions, guardianship, special needs trusts, teaching social skills, and planning for adulthood. In addition to the presentations there will be a panel Q & A and a lunch break which will be an opportunity for attendees to meet and discuss the issues with each other. We will be charging a nominal fee to cover our costs. Vendors and organizations are invited to display materials. We have been approved to provide CEU's. At this time, we would like to expand our list of already scheduled speakers. Please contact Micki Moran (mickim@...) or Royko (karenr@...) at The Child & Family Law Center if you are interested in presenting on a relevant topic. Our phone number is 847-926-0101. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you. Royko Assistant to Micki Moran CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE The contents of this message may be privileged and confidential.
