Guest guest
Cart is an advisory of experts who review cases from all over the state, where individuals in day programs and/or residential settings are having extreme or extraordinary issues. In the past, they met weekly, but now I believe they meet much less often, as SST has taken over most of the cases. SST is a new program in Illinois that is more hands-on. SST is comprised of teams, throughout the state, who travel to where they are needed. They review cases on site and gather info in a more dynamic way. The goal for both is to keep individuals in the community, successfully and safely. Ellen Ellen Garber Bronfeld egskb@...
Guest guest
One more thing -- who can/must request their services? If it's an adult struggling in a day program, for example...does the provider need to request, and then ultimately pay for the SST consultation? If it's a CILA, same thing? I'm guessing a family member or individual cannot make the request, correct? L.
