Guest guest
The Medicaid card is coded as a " qualified Medicaid Beneficiary > (QMB) " and the adult child can continue to have group home and other services > paid for with the Medicaid card. > OMG....When I went to the SSA office the other day, the lady I talked to said something about The QMB, but said I'd have to go to the Medicaid office to find out more. (I left there SOOO confused, cause the lady at SSA didn't know much about it. I've been flipping out for days, because my son just got off SSI & onto SSDI (in Jan) on his dad's work record. I've been trying to figure out how to spend his money, so he could be under $2,000. I was planning on going on my next late work day, but not looking forward to it. I hadn't realized that he would have been in danger of losing his Medicaid. I'm taking it that I can quit worrying about everything? That it will be okay if he has over $2,000?
