Arc Position Opening for FSN Executive Director

The Arc of Illinois

March 18, 2011

Leaders in The Arc:

Our good friend Charlotte Cronin has decided she is going to retire. However,

Charlottes definition of retirement may be different than yours or mine. She is

not going away; she just wants to redirect her advocacy for people with

disabilities and their families.

I will be asking our Family Support Committee of The Arc Board of Directors to

screen resumes for the position of Executive Director of the Family Support

Network and make recommendations to me about the qualities necessary to head up

this important work.

A job description follows and is also attached. Please share it with other

advocates.

We will be accepting resumes until April 15th.

Resumes can be emailed to me along with a statement about the primary reason you

feel you have the skills to run the Family Support Network. You can also mail

resumes to: Family Support Network, The Arc of Illinois, 20901 LaGrange Road,

Suite 209, fort, IL 60423, or fax them to 815-464-5292.
