Guest guest
This is a worthwhile effort, no doubt, but the preselection of the participants misses an important problem that has often been discussed here. Criteria #3 and #4 exclude those who were never linked to available services by school districts, physicians, or other potentioal referral points. Of course, there's not much point in inviting those with no experience, but the group as planned should at least consider how to reach the less informed, less socially connected, or just overwhelmed parents at each level at which additional services are needed. > >... > We Need Your Autism Experience > > > Illinois Autism Task Force > Illinois Autism Clearinghouse > Putting the Pieces Together > > > Dear parents and guardians, > > > > The Information Clearinghouse Committee of the Illinois Autism Task Force is looking for a few good people to be part of a focus group on autism.
