Guest guest
The reality is the money has to come from somewhere. A rental car, one day from Nevada was $84.00. With the various taxes the total was $150.00. And of course tourism is down in Nevada. While we are looking for more money we have to examine the culture of our areas/towns/cities/counties. Our biggest taxing body is our schools, and how do they view students with disabilities. What is the attitude, climate in those small communities? Ellen points out the White Paper, one of the most spot on document with facts that lead us to the conclusion our children will grow up to do very little. It is all statistics, no emotion. And again, what is the status of the Blueprint? A lot of us spent a great deal of time convincinc our lawmakers to approve it. Great document. Now what happens? Perhaps some inspired funding, revenue source to support the Blueprint? Now that could be a levy we could all stand behind. Cindi
