Dental needs for disabled adult daughter

Hello all,

I have a question about dental work but I don't know how to access

this forum other than this way~sorry! My 27 year old daughter is in

need of having her first cavity filled and her dentist (whom I like

very much and trust) feels she is best served by using anesthesia.

While under anesthesia they also intend to get individual teeth x-

rays to see if any other teeth are showing decay, clean the teeth and

reaching areas they can't normally reach along with a special

procedure called scaling and root planning. Dental procedures will be

a minimum of $1600 and anesthesia will run another $3200-$4200.

My daughter does have Medicaid but unfortunately neither the dentist

nor the anesthesiologist takes medicaid. Does anyone know/recommend a

dentist that does take medicaid and can perform these types of

procedures using anesthesia?

This is a lot for us to swallow right now, any help would be greatly

appreciated.

Sincerely,

Shauna Wellman
