Wilmette Library hosting a free seminar

Dear Friends,

A free seminar for families to help in planning for the futures of individuals

with developmental, intellectual disability, chronic mental illness or physical

disability is being held at the Wilmette Public Library on Sunday January 23,

2011 from 2:00-3:00 pm.

Wilmette Public Library & JCFS Presents

As a parent, family member, or caregiver of a person with a developmental or

intellectual disability, chronic mental illness or physical impairment, you

probably

worry about the future care of your loved one. Planning for the future for and

with a loved one with a disability is an important task, especially as

caregivers

grow older and life changes.

Nemeth, LCSW, and Family Bridges Clinician at Jewish Child and Family

Services will describe the process of planning the future, including developing

a

letter of intent, and the steps required to ensure that your plan will be

carried out.
