DRS SPONSORED SELF EMPLOYMENT RESOURCE NETWORK UPCOMING TRAININGS

The Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) launched a pilot on October 1,

2010, designed to offer expert mentor services to people with disabilities

interested in researching and possibly starting their own business. In

collaboration with the Self Employment Resource Network (SERN) a leader in

training and education for business entrepreneurs with disabilities, DRS is

sponsoring a series of workshops throughout the state. These trainings will

cover options, available supports, and exciting new possibilities for accessing

small business development assistance to achieve successful self-employment

goals and dreams.

Workshops will be held in the following regions from 1-4 pm:

November 30 - Chicago/Cook County - Madden Mental Health Center Auditorium, 1200

December 14 - Central Illinois - Mental Health Centers of Central Illinois, 710
