Teri will discuss the evolution of autism science and the autism advocacy community. Teri Arranga is the director of Autism One (www.autismone.org), the vice president of the Global Autism Collaboration (www.autism.org) and the secretary of the Strategic Autism Initiative. Teri is the editor of Dr. Wakefield's book Callous Disregard: Autism and Vaccines - The Truth Behind a Tragedy (www.callous-disregard.com), which was published by Skyhorse Publishing, and she contributed to the book Cutting-Edge Therapies for Autism, 2010-2011, which was also published by Skyhorse Publishing. She is the host of the weekly program Autism One: A Conversation of Hope on the VoiceAmerica Health and Wellness Channel (www.health.voiceamerica.com), and she has been involved with a number of media projects, including consulting for medical documentaries such as by award-winning filmmaker Lina Moreco of Canada, appearing in the award-winning documentary Beautiful Son, and consulting for the April 2007 Discover magazine article " Understanding Autism.
