Suggested Donation at the door:

           $10 per family

Is your special needs child's transition to adulthood a concern in your

family?  Join us for a Sunday afternoon discussion about life after age 22,

when the school bus stops coming. 

This event has two tracks, one for our students, one for their families.  The

student track can only have 16 attendees.  The adult track is open to all with

an interest. 

STUDENT TRACK  (max: 16 students)

Pre=Registration required

Special needs students (ages 14-25) meet to explore their personal visions of

their own futures.  What do they want?  What do they need? How do they get

it?

FAMILY TRACK (max:  65 adults)

Walk-ins allowed  if space permits

Parents, siblings and others explore the world of the PATH process, discovery,

circles of support,  microboards and cooperatives, and microenterprise.  Who

will look after your child when you are gone?  How can you guide them towards a

meaningful life?

We are an informal group of parents of children just finishing high school and

entering transition programs.  Because we want our children to have full lives,

we are trying to learn what we can while there is time to make adjustments.
