As guardian you determine who is the representative payee. The agency running

the CILA may tell you differently because it is easier for them if they are the

payee. However, they are entitled to the amount of your wards social security

minus $50 each month. My husband is the payee for our son who is in a CILA. I

have an automatic payment from the payee account to the agency each month.
