Election Day! Exercise Your Right to Choose!

Family Support Network Members and Friends. . ..

Tomorrow is Election Day, one of the great gifts we enjoy as Americans...

Have you committed to vote?

Over the last year the Family Support Network, in collaboration with many

wonderful advocates, has worked to hold Legislative Forums all over the state.

We've recorded our forums and a couple of others and posted them on our website

.. Here are links. Please take time to listen to what YOUR candidates had to say

before you enter your polling booth.

This election will have dramatic impact on the futures of people with

disabilities for a long time to come. We need advocates we can count on!

· In Peoria, we had six legislators/candidates and over two hundred

advocates.

· IMPACT CIL in Alton hosted a wonderful forum with both state and

Congressional candidates. Over a hundred advocates in attendance. again we are

frustrated with our inability to upload the video.

Our additional congratulations to advocates in St. , Schaumburg, Orland

Park, and Palatine. All organized forums.. taking advantage of one of the

greatest gifts and freedoms we enjoy as Americans.
