Guest guest
My daughter forward this to me. I was wondering if anyone had a answer for her. I understand how these parent feel. And also know that I can't take my son to certain places. * * * I hope you are doing well in Indy! I have a quick question for you: Do you know of any watchdog groups who raise awareness about businesses who discriminate against people with mental or physical disabilities? A friend of mine sent me this based on something she encountered when she went out to eat with her family: Went to 's Deli today (which is in the Ashland/Mansfield area in Ohio) and was told not to bring Autumn back again because of her behavior problems. Husband Ken explained that she has autism and the waitress said that she has seen autistic kids that don't act that way and that the owner does not want Autumn to eat in his restaurant again, so my hubby and I are boycotting the place. They discriminate against mentally handicapped children. Since you do so much work for , I figured you might be a good resource. Any help or direction you could point us in would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
