Good Morning, let me refresh your memories: My son is 29 and has Down Syndrome.

He receives Medicare A, B and D, he is covered under my work Insurance Blue

Cross, he also get HBWD, he gets SSI and SSDI, has a part time job, and we get

Adult Home Based Services. The more I see on here the more I wonder if I am

doing things right or not and the more confused I get. I learned on here that we

should have a seperate account for our son/daughter, I do not have a separate

account. I just have the SSI and SSDI deposited into my account every month and

I just pay his share (and them some) every month from my account. I have been

doing this for years and nobody has questioned it. How is this account supposed

to read, how much can be in there at a time? I do not send in a report on how

much he earns from his part time job, as they said I only have to do that if he

goes over his allowed amount. How much can me make since he gets SSI and SSDI?

Trying to get someone to answer all my questions from Soc Sec is impossible.

Everything has a limit of what you can earn, save, spend, etc. But SSI and SSDI

and Mediaid have seperate rules. Anyone know where I can find out what exactly

is the right things to do? I know everyone has their own situations but is

there anyone I can find out the correct things to do, the limits as it relates

to our situation? More and more confused everyday! I know there are so many on

here that seem to know so much. Thanks, Shirley
