Guest guest
Medline is www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed ; type in the number or words to see the article(s). TAC IS CONSIDERED 'CYTOSTATIC CANCER THERAPY'. ALSO - TAC is the most prominent constituent in Shiitake mushroom. " ...And in both China and Japan, shiitake mushrooms have been used for hundreds of years as cancer-fighting agents... " (1. Post Script). TAC is also called 'Thioproline'; its chemical name is Thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid. TAC is related to Penicillin because it has a 'thiazolidine ring' . Yesterday I looked at some research which I have had in my possession since November, 1997. It is 'Cytostatic and Reverse-Transforming Therapies of Cancer - a Brief Review and Future Prospects' by Mark F. McCarty and is found in Medical Hypotheses 8: 589-612, 1982 I was amazed to discover that TAC is considered " Cytostatic cancer therapy " . The abstract reads (I'll list the cytostatic agents numerically): " Cytostatic cancer therapies are defined as those which retard cancer growth by intervening selectively in the disordered control mechanisms responsible for malignant behavior, without producing direct cytotoxicity. A number of possible approaches to cytostatic therapy are now under investigation and are briefly reviewed here - 1. cyclic AMP congeners and promoters 2. prostaglandin precursors 3. thioproline (j.s.r. - TAC) 4. benzaldehyde (j.s.r. - related to laetrile) 5. retinoids 6, interferon 7. chalones 8. antineoplastons 9. protease inhibitors 10. polar solvents. Suggestions for the further development of cytostatic therapies are offered, and a role for cytostatic therapy within a broad global concept of cancer therapy is proposed. " There are 128 references; the conclusion reads: " As a final note, it is intriguing to speculate on the possibility of using cytostatic food factors such as benzaldehyde and evening primrose oil as cancer preventive agents. Pre-cancerous and early well-differentiated lesions may well be more susceptible to cytostatic control then are advanced malignancies. This possibility can be readily tested in spontaneous and carcinogen-mediated models of cancer induction. " My vote for the best cytostatic anti-cancer agent goes to thioproline (TAC) because - 1. Dr. Gosalvez, Spain's Director of Biochemical Research for 30 years, showed that TAC could cause the " ...disappearance of evidence of cancer. " in a medically supervised clinical trial; Medline 6101417. Also Dr. Gosalvez thinks that TAC is primarily responsible for the decrease in the cancer mortality rate in the U.S.A. from 1990 to 2000; Medline 15681606 (I have this report.). Dr. Gosalvez attributes this decrease to the fact that TAC and another medicine were administered to " terminal cancer patients " in U.S. Military Hospitals from 1990 to 2000. 2. Dr. V. Schally, a 1977 Nobel Prize winner in Medicine, has used TAC as the primary chemical in his anti-cancer research since 1994; type SCHALLY TAC into Medline, and you will see numerous articles. TAC - one out of 500; the first paragraph about TAC (Thioproline) in this 1982 report reads: " Thioproline (thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid) was shown to restore contact inhibition of HeLa cells in a massive screening program which examined some 500 agents. Thioproline is a lipid-soluble molecule with anti-oxidant and metal-chelating actions; it serves as a source of free sulphydryl groups in the liver and has received extensive clinical use in Europe (up to 400 mg p.o. daily) as a hepatoprotective agent. " (2. Post Script). Now, out of this group of ten what might be considered the second best " Cystostatic cancer therapy " ? IT'S NOT LISTED! ----- FLAX SEED OIL & COTTAGE CHEESE! Medline 13376028 - Title of Dr. Budwig's article is 'Cytostatic or cytodynamic control of cancer?' (3. Post Script) S. Post Script - 1. The Medical Advisor by TIME/LIFE, page 1007 2. 50 pages in a 1972 Italian Journal can leave no doubt that TAC is probably the best liver medicine in the world; mega doses of TAC and vitamin C is possibly the cure for hepatitis. Refer to 'L-acido tiazolidin-carbossilico in epatologia', Gazzetta Medica Italiana , Volume 131, N. 6 (Giugno 1972), pages 251 to 300; available at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan 3. I am dumb-founded by the ignorance prevalent in the world relative the Dr. Budwig's FlaxSeed Oil/Cottage cheese anti-cancer research; there is no mention of it in these popular 'Alternative Medicine' books - a. The Complete Book of Cancer Prevention by the Editors of Prevention Magazine b. Alternative Medicine, The Definitive Guide , 1068 pages c. The Medical Advisor by TIME/LIFE , 1152 pages d. Prescription for Nutritional Healing , 3rd Edition , 776 pages j.s.r.
