Guest guest
What is everyones thoughts on the Acid/Alkali balance of your body? Everything I'm reading tells me we are probably too acid because of our diet and need to " push " our body to a higher PH to fight cancer. However, I am not very clear what is " normal " . I've seen some web sites say that 7.4 is " ideal " while others say a lower PH of about 6.8 is normal. Others give a range from 6.5 to 7.4 as the normal with your body fluctuating within that range. I've already modified my diet before I started studying PH so I don't know what I was before. Right now I'm about 6.5 … 7.0 . When you wake up you are usually the most acid. I don't seem to get much higher than that durring the the day. As far as I can tell this is on the low side of the " normal " range. I've been feeling better the last few weeks so I suspect I was more acid than I should have been. I `m working on making my PH go to at least the high end of the normal range by eating more Alkaline foods. I have read where to fight cancer you should go as high as 8.5 using Cesium. I think this is a little extreme, at least for me, where I'm fairly healthy and not at risk of dying anytime soon. Anyone have success with this or have any thoughts to add. One of my wife's friends made this an important part of her cure from Lymphoma and bone cancer. The Internet sources don't have a Consensus and sometimes contradict each other even with what foods do what. Personal note: I have Prostate cancer treated surgery and radiation. My PSA was 18 before surgery and it had spread outside the prostate into the faty tissue I'm currently on hormonal therapy from by doctor. My Current PSA is less than 1 (.78) from 9.0 in March about 3 weeks after I started hormonal therapy. About the time I found out that my cancer came back (March) I started down the alternative medicine path: I took Paw Paw root,Manopol and Essiac tea for the last 3 months. I'm currently taking Essiac tea, Manopol, and extra vitamins. Thanks to Cliff in this group, I am eating flax seed oil and cottage cheese daily. I don't eat any sugar and I've cut back on my meat intake. I've greatly increased my diet with " anti cancer " foods such as Brocolli and such. I'm hesitant to give up on the doctors recommendations for now so Its impossible to tell what is working. I do feel better so at least my quality of life is up and that is the most important element of all.
