Guest guest
It's a sad day for me today. I just deleted 170 hard-bouncing members from our list. Hard-bounce means messages from the list to those members were returned with an error indicating the address no longer exists. That can mean they changed email addresses. It could also mean they're dead or so bad off they can't do email any more. And maybe that means this cures for cancer list just isn't doing the job I intended. So, I thought I'd write and express my condolences to and for all those who've passed away because of that horrible disease, and my sorrow for their pain, suffering, deprivation, and the destruction of their personal fortunes. While I'm at it, I might as well let all of you know my intentions, and in case you're wondering, I'm talking about steely-eyed resolve, unswervingly dogged determination, and unreserved, unbending INTENT: 1. I want this list to help people prevent and cure cancer by whatever means are necessary, with particular emphasis on alternative cures, simply because the medical community is doing such a lousy job of it. 2. I want list members to research, discover, and write succinctly and in plain language about how to prevent and cure cancer, and post those messages to this list. 3. I want a flood of new members who will read and use the material posted here in their own lives, and share it with others around them - I want each of you to make a difference in your own home, your community, and your extended family by telling people with no equivocation what they have to do to become and stay healthy. 4. If you're a practitioner, I want you to dump your brains into this list to help others. If you're a cancer victim or care-giver for a cancer victim, I want you to ask your questions and use your best wisdom and best effort in using the answers you get on the list and in its archives to cure the disease. If you are healthy, and curious, I want you to use the information you receive here to prevent the disease in your family. 5. I don't want any wimpy, sniveling, back-biting, whining, cat- clawing attitudes about or toward the owner or moderator of this list for maintaining good discipline on the list. If you're inclined to fuss and give me or Tom a hard time, take your distractions elsewhere. 6. I want you who post here to use your best English to say what you have to say, and to learn how to write a cogent, compact essay on the points you want to make so that people who are sick or dying will be inclined to read it. This isn't the place for scientific tomes. If you have a tome and want to publish it, put it in the files section, or send it to me personally and I'll put it on my web site. 6. I want all list members to visit my free web site for free information about curing cancer. I don't make any money from it. It is a public service, and has been for at least 7 years. Here's the url: http://cures for cancer.ws. I am preparing a new forum for it and you can post articles there. Here's my point: People are dying like flies from cancer, and those who survive through medical therapies (chemo, radiation, surgery) alone are sacrificing their personal savings to the disease, often leaving their families in emotional and financial wreckage. I want this list to make a difference in their lives, and to encourage them rigorously to follow nutrition and lifestyle guidelines that will make them healthy again. That's the reason I asked Tom Roper to moderate this list - he's a tough editor and a tough, but loving, human being who has proven by the way he lives the wisdom of eating right, exercising vigorously, helping others graciously, and spending personal time with people who love him. And because he is so skilled and demanding as an editor, and has shown the benefit of physical training and good nutrition (nearly 72 years old, and hard-bodied as they come), I trust his editorial judgment. Every one of you on this list could follow his personal example and be the picture of good physical health. In case you doubt Tom's effectiveness, let me point out that before I started removing hard-bounce members from the list, there were over a thousand members. A couple of months ago when Tom took over as editor, there were about 700. Some of his detractors tried to assert the list was dying as a result of his efforts. In reality, he has breathed new life into it. And so have you other members who are making your postings truly readable and enjoyably informative. I thank you for that on behalf of myself, Tom, and the hundreds of other members who silently enjoy the benefits. Let's keep up the good work. I encourage each one of you to send email to your circle of friends and acquaintances, inviting them to subscribe to this list. All they have to do is send email to the following address: cures for cancer-subscribe Sincerely, Bob Hurt Cancercure list owner
Guest guest
To Bob Hurt: Please, never, ever, consider dropping this remarkable group. About the time you started this group I too wanted to start a discussion group. (I did not at that time) I just could not clearly state my aims and objectives as you have. I urge any group member with a website, personal or commercial, to include the code available by clicking " Promote " over in the left column on this page. Let's work together to grow this group! I too am sick and tired of friends, neighbors and relatives being taken by CANCER. I suspect that a careful analysis of the the trend of food and drink additives we ingest would directly correlate with the rampant increase in cancer victims! Ironically when alternative treatments are suggested to most AMA members, they deem them AMA (against medical advice.) Thank you, Bob!
