I have been using Dr. Aguilar since June for my four yr old son, and have been impressed with the results. I was likewise impressed with the professionalism of him and his co workers in Mexico. A VERY trusted person has assured me , repeatedly, that these accusations towards Dr. Aguilar are NOT true. His FGF2 is very, very difficult to detect, and requires special laboratory equipment. I am not afraid, and I trust not only Dr. Aguilar, but also the person that assured me about it.

ARI hasalso been notified. I have no hard feeling about what happened with this treatment to my son,I just hope that no permanent damage was done. Dear Maranie:

I feel like I am repeating my self, but here it is one more time. Dr

Aguailar's " FGF " vials were tested several times in U.S.A, you must

have missed the previous information given in detail. These are not

accessions. His " fgf " or rather cocktail was tested twice at S @ N Lab

in Santa Ana, California. (714)543-2211, Job # 8847 in 1998, Contact

name was Neil Springham.On the 1st time of testing they could not find

the " fgf " , Dr Aguilar was contacted , the excuse of special laboratory

equipment was given by him. So he brought his own special laboratory

equipment and vials from Mexico to S & N lab , test was conducted ,they

still could not find any " fgf " , no protein was found. What they found

was Silicon, obsorbed through Dr Aguilar's purification system, Saline,

and other residues such as Sodium Trifloral Accitate, that they did not

bother to take out. Few months later another test was conducted at UCI,

again they could not find " fgf " . Dr Gupta spoke of this in the june

conference. These are scientific facts and not accusations. It is not

the questinof trust, but pure scientific data. After all Our children

are paying the price for these unpurified cocktail with their lives.

Gee, now I am repeating myself. Maybe we aren't listening very well!!! Dr. Aguilar's FGF vials were tested, but not with the appropriate equipment. J & J labs have tested them , and they have found exactly what Dr. Aguilar said was in them. I am also very concerned about what I put into my son, and would not do anything lightly. I checked and rechecked my information. I do believe that trust plays a big part in this, especially when it's your childs doctor that has researched it, and verified that it is safe. Dr. Edelson in Atlanta is even using it now! Dr. Gupta did not find any FGF2 simply because it is in miniscule amounts in each vial, and cannot be easily found with normal lab equipment. If you have proof that their equipment was the right kind, and have proof of what they found, or rather, what they didn't find, then I would LOVE to see it! I am open minded on this, and would love to know FOR SURE if something was unsafe about this. Please forward any paperwork, lab results, reports, etc. that you have. I , too, will be getting what scientific proof I can about the J & J testing results to forward to you. Thanks....

Hi Maranie:

I have provided you with details. All you have to do is to make a

simple phone call. Quite frankly if I were you I would not use Dr

Edelson as an example, although quite bright, his ruthless approach

toward us , overcharging patients for tests, supplements and treatments,

(resulting in more than one person mortgaging their homes) has led many

of us to boycott him. I do not hear of him speaking at any DAN

conferences - do you? By the way, Dr Aguilar's Cocktail is not even

approved by the Mexican health authorities. We waited not months, but

for a couple of years for him to validate his treatment- he could not.

Hi Nora,

That's kind of what I expected you would say!! I don't fault you for not having any concrete evidence- I will call on Monday and get them to send me their test results. I fully don't expect there to be any sign of the FGF2 in their tests, however, due to the incorrect protocol they use. Also, I feel as if I can use Dr. Edelson as an example as I was not 'conned " into paying his outrageous prices!! He is indeed a very bright man, however, and has done alot of research in Autism. I don't agree with every thing he stands for- but I feel that if such a " bright " man would use it with his patients ( that are paying so very much) then he must know what he's doing. All of that aside, I don't mean to attack your position, as I am concerned myself. I just like to see the proof in writing, thats all. I don't believe in attacking another person's character unless I have the proof - by that I mean solid evidence, you know, WRITTEN, to back it up. I have all the validation I need with my son's leaps in progress, and all the other childrens parents that I have talked to that have made REMARKABLE improvements with this product. ( or cocktail, as you like to say! ) No hard feelings- we just all have to do what is best for our own child.

FGF2 is Fibroblast Growth Factor, and is administered via injection. You do have to go to Mexico to be evaluated , but the medicine is then sent home to administer. It is a Neuronal growth factor that apparently aids neurons in making connections. Improvements are mainly seen in language and social skills.
